To go along with my on-going Kickstarter, my story of the month is "A Grave Kind of Love."

Well, this is an exciting day. The Kickstarter for my three new A Ghost’s Memoir Short Story Collection books is live!! That's 29 first-person ghost stories collected into three themed books. The campaign runs through 11/1 (Día de los Muertos, of course).

So look at this handsome fellow (or gal). I was recently on a walk with an old friend on a popular trail in Flagstaff, AZ when we saw a woman walking a turtle. I asked and was given permission to snap a quick photo:

In the old day when a story was written on paper or with a typewriter, things like "first draft," "second draft," and "third draft," made a lot of sense because you dealt with the manuscript as a whole, a pass at a time. There was a tangible artifact representing each draft.
